DAY 01 (12 October 2015): Depart Australia for Nairobi via Dubai.

DAY 02 (13 October 2015): Arrival in Nairobi and overnight
DAY 03 (14 October 2015): Fly to Maasai Mara Game Reserve
DAY 04 (15 October 2015): Full day in Maasai Mara Game Reserve
DAY 05 (16 October 2015): Full day in Maasai Mara Game Reserve
DAY 06 (17 October 2015): Full day in Maasai Mara Game Reserve
DAY 07 (18 October 2015): Full day in Maasai Mara Game Reserve
DAY 08 (19 October 2015): Depart for Speke Bay – Lake Victoria
DAY 09 (20 October 2015): Depart for Serengeti National Park

DAY 15 (26 October 2015): Transfer to Musanze (starting point for Gorilla track)
DAY 16 (27 October 2015): Tracking mountain gorillas
DAY 17 (28 October 2015): Tracking mountain gorillas and return to Kigali
DAY 18 (29 October 2015): Kigali sightseeing and transfer to airport for flight to Nairobi
DAY 19 (30 October 2015): Transfer Dubai for flight back to Australia
DAY 20 (31 October 2015): Melbourne-Canberra

Detailed itinerary:

DAY 1: 12 October 2015: AUSTRALIA – NAIROBI

Depart Australia for Dubai on Emirates Airlines.

DAY 2 (13 October 2015): Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 1445 Hrs, you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your Nairobi hotel. Dinner at own arrangement. Overnight at The Eka Hotel – Bed & breakfast basis.

DAY 3 (14th October 2015): Fly to Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Breakfast at the hotel from 0700 Hrs to 0800 Hrs – at this time please prepare for check-out too!! At 0800 Hrs you will be picked up and transfer to Wilson Airport for your morning flight to Maasai Mara departing at 1000 Hrs and arriving at 1100 Hrs. Upon arrival, your private safari guide / vehicle will be waiting to receive and transfer you to your small & luxurious camp, THE MARA BUSH CAMP with a game drive en-route to arrive in time for lunch. At 15.30 Hrs, embark on your first game drive in search of the big cats hunting.

DAYS 4 – 7 (15 – 18 October 2015): Full days in Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Spend the next 04 (four) full days in Maasai Mara with unlimited game drives with packed breakfast or lunch if you like. You could also enjoy just a morning and afternoon game drive if you prefer or simply go out for a longer morning game drive or even a full day game drive with packed meals (breakfast & lunch). All meals and overnight at Mara Bush Camp.

DAY 08 (19 October 2015): Depart for Speke Bay – Lake Victoria (Approx. 5.5 Hrs drive)
After breakfast, depart with packed lunches for Lake Victoria. You will swap the vehicles and driver guide at Isebania border. Arrive at Speke bay after lunch. Spend your afternoon at leisure with activities such as canoeing, guided bird walks available at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at Speke Bay Lodge.

Day 9 (20 October 2015)
After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti National Park to arrive at Serengeti Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Kati Kati Camp.

DAY 10 – 13 (21 to 24 October 2015): Full days in Serengeti National Park

Spend the next 04 (four) days in Serengeti with unlimited game drives in the Park with packed breakfast or lunch if you like. You could also enjoy just a morning and afternoon game drive if you prefer or simply go out for a longer morning game drive

Day 14 (25 October 2015)
Early morning game drive and breakfast. Thereafter drop off at the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha scheduled to depart at 1115 Hrs arriving at 1245 Hrs. On arrival, you will be picked up and transferred for lunch at the Shanga River House and thereafter drop off at Kilimanjaro International Airport to check-in for your home bound international flight. End of services in Tanzania

Land content in Kenya and Tanzania:

Option 01: Based on a minimum of 01 person in a safari Equipped Landcruiser USD 10,120.00 per person in a single in a guest tent

Option 02: Based on a minimum of 02 persons in a safari Equipped Landcruiser USD 6, 650.00 per person sharing in a double / twin in a guest tent

Option 03: Based on a minimum of 03 persons in a safari Equipped Landcruiser USD 5, 740.00 per person sharing in a double / twin

Option 04: Based on a minimum of 04 persons in a safari Equipped Landcruiser USD 5, 280.00 per person sharing in a double / twin

Single room supplement @ USD 770.00 per person for the entire safari.

Luggage allowance: 15 KGS per person inclusive of hand luggage. However arrangements have been made to increase baggage allowance for 4 persons allowing up to a minimum of 33 KGS per person.

Detailed itinerary:

DAY 14 (25 October 2015):

After arrival at the airstrip at Arusha, enjoy some lunch and afterwards transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight to Kigali. Arrive in Kigali at 1915 hours and transfer to Hotel Portofino for your overnight stay.

DAY 15 (26 October 2015):

After breakfast you will be taken by car to Musanze, the starting point for our Gorilla trekking the following two days. Accommodation at the Hotel La Palme in Musanze.

DAY 16 (27 October 2015):

Pick up from the hotel in the morning to get to the starting point for tracking the mountain gorillas. The hike through lush and at times dense bush can be strenuous and exhausting, and may last up to a few hours depending on the location of the mountain gorillas. Porters will be available for hire for a fee (between USD10 and 20 per porter). Once we have reached the gorillas, there will be a maximum of one hour to see them. Afterwards return to Hotel La Palme for rest and recuperation.

DAY 17 (28 October 2015):

The second day of tracking the mountain gorillas will make you smile even more! Afterwards return to hotel. After some rest you will be taken back to Kigali (Hotel Portofino) for a last overnight stay in Kigali.

DAY 18 (29 October 2015):

Enjoy the sights of Kigali during a sightseeing trip late morning. Board the aircraft for Nairobi late afternoon. At Nairobi board your direct connecting flight on Emirates to Dubai.
